Why do we give offerings?

To give is an act of worship and a way to honor God with what we have.

How much should I give?

According to the Bible, giving is a personal and voluntary act that should be marked by conviction and joy. Each individual is encouraged to make their own decision about giving, based on their circumstances and their heart.
“Each of you should give what you have decided in your heart to give, not reluctantly or under compulsion, for God loves a cheerful giver.”

What is a tithe?

A tithe refers to one tenth of a person’s income and is rooted in the Bible as an expression of dedication to God and support for spiritual work. Through tithing, God is acknowledged as the source of everything we have, while it also contributes to the function and mission of the church.
